Lidea is a modern and innovative multicultural brand that offers Ukrainian agricultural producers a wide selection of varieties and hybrids of the following crops: corn, sunflower, sorghum, soybean, winter rapeseed, winter wheat. The seeds of the Lidea company meet the needs of farmers as much as possible and have biological characteristics (high content of valuable substances, oil, protein, etc.).
Lidea in Ukraine is a vertically integrated company with more than 450 employees, which has in its structure: local seed production (hybridization sites and a seed plant); own R&D department, whose activity is focused on the research and development of the most effective product solutions and technologies; a dairy farm that allows you to see for yourself the biological value of our products in real conditions; a central office that implements commercial and trading activities.
Already in 1900, KWS became the leader in world trade in sugar beet seeds and began to establish subsidiaries. In Ukraine KWS built its first plant seed in 1905, known as Vinnitsa seed plant.
In 2001 the subsidiary LLC "KWS-Ukraine" was founded, which provides seed production, marketing and agro services. KWS offers 13 hybrids of sugar beet, 20 maize hybrids and high-performance of hybrid of sunflower, fodder beet, winter rape, rye, spring barley varieties and potatoes to Ukrainian producers.
Limited liability company “Limagrain Ukraine” was founded on 24th October 2008. The founder is company Limagrain Europe S.A. (France).
MAS Seeds Ukraine is a Ukrainian subsidiary of the French seed company MAS Seeds, which is the part of the agricultural cooperative group MAISADOUR. Mas Seeds has been present on the Ukrainian market for over 10 years. The MAS Seeds seed processing factory, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, is the №1 seed giant in Ukraine with a production capacity of 1 million sowing units per year. 90% of corn seeds and 50% of MAS Seeds sunflower seeds which is sold on the Ukrainian market are produced in Ukraine, other quantities are imported from MAS Seeds factory in France and Spain.
Limited liability company “RAGT Semences-Ukraine” was created in 2010. The founder of the company is RAGT Semences (France).
RAGT Semences was founded in 1919. The Company has 18 branches and more than 1000 highly qualified employees only in Europe.
Recently the construction of the seed plant on sunflower seeds processing was completed and LLC “Syngenta” is a representative of "Syngenta" in Ukraine which operates in over 90 countries, it employs more than 25,000 employees.
